Privacy Policy

Tiara. Effective 6 July 2026.

Tiara is a personal planner for the family running a quinceanera, made by Moonshot Media Limited. Tiara is built to be private by design. We do not run servers for your content, we do not have accounts, and we cannot see your data.

1. Information we do not collect

Tiara does not collect, transmit, or sell your personal data. There are no analytics SDKs, no advertising, no trackers, and no third party data sharing. We do not ask you to create an account or sign in.

2. Information stored on your device

Everything you enter, the quince details, your padrinos, your court, guests, budget, ceremonies, and your speech answers and drafts, is stored locally on your device using Apple’s on-device database.

3. iCloud sync (your private iCloud)

If you are signed in to iCloud, Tiara uses Apple’s CloudKit to sync your data to your own private iCloud account, so it is available on your devices and survives reinstalling the app. This data lives in your personal iCloud and is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. Moonshot Media has no access to it and cannot read it. You can manage or delete it in your iCloud settings.

4. Reminders

If you turn on gentle reminders, Tiara schedules local notifications on your device for your upcoming tasks. These are created and delivered on your device and are not sent to us.

5. The writing companion

Your brindis, your daughter’s speech, and the candle introductions are assembled entirely on your device from your answers using a built-in template engine. Tiara does not use artificial intelligence and does not send your answers or drafts anywhere.

6. Messages you send

When you send a padrino invitation, a rehearsal reminder, or a thank-you, Tiara opens your own Messages, WhatsApp, or email through the standard iOS share sheet. Tiara never sends anything itself. What happens next is controlled by you.

7. Contacting us

If you use the Feature Request or Report a Problem buttons, your email app opens a message to us. If you email us, we receive your message and email address only so we can reply. We do not use it for anything else.

8. In-app purchase

Tiara unlocks with a single one-time purchase through Apple. Payments are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your card or payment details. Apple shares only the anonymous confirmation Tiara needs to unlock the app. There is no subscription.

9. Children’s privacy

Tiara is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age.

10. Data security

Because your data stays on your device and in your own private iCloud, it is protected by your device passcode, Face ID or Touch ID, and Apple’s encryption. We hold no copy of it.

11. Your rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA)

Since we do not collect or hold your personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on our side. You are in full control of your data on your device and in your iCloud, and you can delete it at any time by deleting your data in the app or removing the app and its iCloud data.

12. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
