How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us. To cancel:
- Open the iOS Settings app
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap Subscriptions
- Tap Dink Pro → Cancel Subscription
Cancelling stops future renewals; your current Pro period continues until the end date. Lifetime is a one-time purchase, so there is nothing to cancel.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple Account, find the Dink purchase, and request a refund. We have no access to your billing.
I bought Pro on my iPhone. Does my Apple Watch get it too?
Yes. One purchase unlocks Dink Pro everywhere. The watch app works with your iPhone’s entitlement; there is nothing separate to buy.
How does the score caller work?
Dink tracks the serve, the server number, and the side-out for you, and shows the full call (for example 4-2-2) on the scoreboard with a hint for who serves next and from which side. With Dink Pro you can also have the call spoken aloud before each serve: turn it on in Settings → Score caller, and use the speaker button on the scoreboard to mute it any time. The voice is generated on your device.
What is the 0-0-2 at the start of a doubles game?
That’s pickleball’s starting rule, and Dink handles it automatically: the team that serves first in a game gets only one server for their first service turn, so the game starts with the call 0-0-2. After that first side-out, both teams get two servers per turn.
Where is my data stored?
Everything stays on your device. There is no Dink account and no Dink server. Match history and player names live on your iPhone, are included in your normal device backups, and are deleted if you delete the App.
How does Apple Watch scoring work?
Open Dink on your Apple Watch during a match (or start one from the watch). The score syncs directly between your iPhone and watch: score a rally on either device and the other reflects it. If the watch was asleep, it catches up automatically the next time it connects.
Why does the watch ask for Health access?
During a match the watch runs a workout session purely so watchOS keeps the scoreboard active on your wrist. Dink does not read or save any Health data; nothing appears in the Health app. If you decline, scoring still works, but the watch may sleep mid-match.
The score isn’t on my Lock Screen. How do I turn that on?
- Open the iOS Settings app
- Tap Dink
- Enable Live Activities
How do I undo a rally I tapped by mistake?
Tap Undo at the bottom of the scoreboard (on iPhone or watch). It works all the way back through the match, including the winning rally.
Is the Dink Rating an official rating?
No. The Dink Rating is an informal estimate computed on your device from the results you record, for fun and personal tracking. Dink is not affiliated with DUPR or any other rating provider, and the Dink Rating should not be used for tournament eligibility.
