Cue Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Cue (the “App”), published by Moonshot Media Limited, registered in Ireland (CRO 813696). By downloading or using the App you agree to them.
What the App is
Cue is a scoreboard for snooker. It keeps score, applies the standard scoring rules of the game, and stores your frames, players and club nights on your device. It is a tool for players and clubs. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any governing body, tour, professional player or organisation, and it is not a substitute for a referee.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, decompile, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the App.
Purchases and subscriptions
Cue Premium is available as a weekly subscription, a yearly subscription, or a one-off lifetime purchase, all sold through Apple’s In-App Purchase. Prices are shown in the App in your local currency before you buy.
Where a free trial is offered, it is available once per Apple ID and the App tells you before you start it. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage and cancel subscriptions in Settings › your Apple ID › Subscriptions, not in the App. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies.
Closing the paywall leaves the full scorer and rules engine available with guest players, along with your five most recent frames.
Your data
Your frames, players and settings are stored on your device. We do not hold them, cannot read them, and cannot recover them for you. If you delete the App or erase its data, they are gone. See the Privacy Policy.
No warranty
The App is provided “as is”. We work hard to make the scoring correct and it is covered by an automated test suite, but we do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error free, and we are not liable for the outcome of any frame, match, league or competition scored with it. Where a result matters, keep a written score alongside.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the App is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. The current version always lives on this page with its effective date. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction.
