Brook Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Brook, an iPhone app published by Moonshot Media Limited, registered in Ireland (CRO 813696). By using the App you agree to them.

Brook is not a medical device

Brook is a personal record-keeping app. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Brook helps you keep a personal record of what you log, and shows it back to you. Your entries and the reports made from them are for your own records. Always talk to a qualified healthcare professional about any health concern, and never delay seeking their advice because of anything you see in this app. If you think you have an emergency, contact emergency services.

Your data is yours

Everything you record stays on your device. You can export it or erase it at any time. We do not hold a copy, which also means we cannot recover anything for you if you delete it or lose the device. If your diary matters to you, keep device backups switched on.

Subscriptions and purchases

Brook is free to download. Core logging and your last seven days of history are free to use for as long as you like.

Brook Premium is available as a weekly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the price shown at purchase unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Free trials, where offered, are once per Apple Account per subscription group; if you have used one already the App will not offer it again.

Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings. Purchases are processed by Apple under Apple’s terms, and refunds are handled by Apple.

Acceptable use

Use the App for your own record-keeping. Do not attempt to reverse engineer it, and do not present its output as a clinical assessment.

Availability and changes

We may update the App, and features may change between versions. We may update these terms; the effective date above changes when we do.

Liability

The App is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, Moonshot Media Limited is not liable for any loss arising from your use of it, including any decision made on the basis of what it displays. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
