Quick Answers
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us. To cancel:
- Open the iOS Settings app
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap Subscriptions
- Tap SnagShot Pro → Cancel Subscription
Cancelling stops future renewals — your current Pro period continues until the end date.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the SnagShot purchase, and request a refund. We have no access to your billing.
Where is my data stored?
SnagShot stores everything on your device. If you have iCloud Backup enabled in the app, your projects and photos sync to your own iCloud account — never to our servers. We don’t have a database. We can’t see your data.
To turn off iCloud sync: iOS Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → SnagShot.
I lost my data. Can you restore it?
We can’t, because we never had a copy. But if you had iCloud Backup turned on, your data is in your own iCloud and SnagShot will pull it back the next time you open the app on a device signed in to the same Apple ID. Try Settings → iCloud Backup → Restore.
How do I add my company logo to reports?
Logo branding is a Pro feature.
- Open Settings in SnagShot
- Tap Company Settings
- Tap Choose Logo and select an image (recommended size: 300×300px)
- Add your company name, address, phone, and email — they’ll appear on every Pro report
Free reports show a small SnagShot watermark instead. Upgrading removes the watermark immediately.
Can I use SnagShot offline?
Yes. Photos, voice dictation, annotations, and PDF generation all work without a signal. You only need the internet for iCloud sync and to purchase or restore Pro.
Voice dictation isn’t working — what do I do?
Check that you’ve granted microphone and speech-recognition permissions:
- iOS Settings → SnagShot
- Make sure Microphone and Speech Recognition are turned on
If it still doesn’t work, restart the app and try again. Some older devices have limited speech recognition support — your device must be running iOS 17 or later.
How do I export my projects?
You can export in two formats:
- PDF report — open a project, tap Generate Report, choose a template, share via email/AirDrop/Messages
- CSV spreadsheet — open a project, tap the share menu, select Export CSV. Opens in Excel or Numbers.
Can I use SnagShot without an account?
Yes — there is no SnagShot account. We don’t have a login system. Your data is tied to your device (and optionally your iCloud).
Does SnagShot work on iPad?
Yes. SnagShot runs natively on iPhone and iPad with adaptive layouts.
