Cue Privacy Policy

Moonshot Media Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates Cue, a snooker scoreboard for iPhone and iPad (the “App”). This policy explains how we handle information.

We do not collect your data

Cue has no account and no sign-in. Everything you enter, frames, matches, players, club nights and settings, is stored on your own device. We do not collect, transmit, sell or share your personal data, and the App contains no analytics or advertising SDKs and no third-party code of any kind.

Sync through your own iCloud

Cue stores your players, frames, matches, club nights, seasons and practice runs in your own private iCloud database, using Apple’s CloudKit. That is what puts them on your other devices and what lets them survive a new phone or a reinstall.

This is your iCloud account, not ours. We have no access to it, we cannot read what is in it, and nothing is sent to any server of ours. Apple’s handling of your iCloud data is covered by Apple’s privacy policy.

If you are not signed in to iCloud, or you turn iCloud off for Cue in Settings, the App keeps working and everything stays on that device alone. Deleting the App removes it from the device; removing it from iCloud is done in Settings › your name › iCloud › Manage Storage.

Photos

You can give a player profile a picture. Cue asks for access to your photo library only at the moment you tap to choose one, the picture is stored inside the App’s own database on your device, and it is never uploaded anywhere. You can remove it at any time, and you never have to add one.

Purchases

Cue Premium is sold through Apple’s In-App Purchase. Apple processes the transaction; we never see your payment details. Purchase validation happens on device via the App Store.

Erasing everything

Settings › Erase all data removes every player, frame, match and club night from the device in one step. Your purchase is unaffected and can be restored at any time.

Children

Cue is a scoreboard for a cue sport and is suitable for all ages. It does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
