Common questions

How does the scoring work? Tap where each of the four bags landed, in the hole, on the board, or off. Bags applies cancellation scoring for you: three points for a bag in the hole, one for a bag on the board, and only the difference between the two sides goes on the scoreboard.

Can I play my house rules? Yes. Exact 21 to win, Bust back to 15 or 13, and Skunk at 11 to nothing are all toggles, along with the target score, who throws first, and singles or doubles.

What are the twelve ways to play? Classic 21, official rules, house rules, fixed Rounds, Killer, Around the World, Blind, CORN, Golf, Baseball, solo Practice, and Bracket Night.

How do I run a bracket? Bracket Night on the home screen. Type in the names, pick knockout, round robin or ladder, and winners advance automatically. No accounts and no signups.

How do I run a league? League Night on the home screen. Create a season, log each week’s games, and the standings build themselves. When the regular season ends the playoffs seed straight from the table.

How do I unlock everything? Bags Pro unlocks every feature, weekly or yearly with a 7 day free trial, or a one time Lifetime purchase. One purchase covers every device on your Apple ID.

How do I restore a purchase? Settings, then Restore Purchases.

How do I change plan? Settings, then Change Plan. You can move up from weekly to yearly or to Lifetime at any time.

Does my history sync? Yes. If you are signed into iCloud, matches, players, brackets and leagues sync between your iPhone and iPad and survive a reinstall.

Will the screen stay awake? Yes. While a match is live the screen never sleeps, so you can prop the phone or iPad up by the boards. It goes back to normal when the match ends.
