Privacy Policy

Sash. Effective 13 July 2026.

Sash is a party games app for the bride’s night, made by Moonshot Media Limited. Sash is built to be private by design. We do not run servers for your content, we do not have accounts, and we cannot see your data.

1. Information we do not collect

Sash does not collect, transmit, or sell your personal data. There are no analytics SDKs, no advertising, no trackers, and no third party data sharing. We do not ask you to create an account or sign in.

2. Information stored on your device

Everything you enter, the bride’s name and the hens’ names, your answers and votes, the games you play, and the notes left for the keepsake, is stored locally on your device using Apple’s on-device database.

3. Photos in the Photo Hunt

The Photo Hunt and photo challenges use your camera during the party. Any photo you take stays on your device. Sash never uploads your photos, never sends them to us, and never shares them with anyone. When you save or share a photo yourself, that is your choice, handled by the standard iOS share sheet.

4. iCloud sync (your private iCloud)

If you are signed in to iCloud, Sash can sync your party details to your own private iCloud account, so they are available on your devices and survive reinstalling the app. This data lives in your personal iCloud and is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. Moonshot Media has no access to it and cannot read it. You can manage or delete it in your iCloud settings.

5. Reminders and notifications

If Sash uses notifications, they are scheduled and delivered locally on your device. Nothing is sent to us.

6. The keepsake

The bride’s keepsake, including the notes each hen leaves and the awards voted on the night, is assembled entirely on your device from what the group enters. Sash does not use artificial intelligence and does not send your entries or the finished keepsake anywhere.

7. Sharing

When you choose to share or save something, such as the keepsake or a photo from the night, Sash uses the standard iOS share sheet. What happens next is controlled by you and the app or contact you share with.

8. Contacting us

If you use the Feature Request or Report a Problem buttons, your email app opens a message to us. If you email us, we receive your message and email address only so we can reply. We do not use it for anything else.

9. In-app purchase

Sash unlocks with a single one-time purchase through Apple. Payments are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your card or payment details. Apple shares only the anonymous confirmation Sash needs to unlock the app. There is no subscription.

10. Children’s privacy

Sash is made for adults celebrating together. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age.

11. Data security

Because your data stays on your device and in your own private iCloud, it is protected by your device passcode, Face ID or Touch ID, and Apple’s encryption. We hold no copy of it.

12. Your rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA)

Since we do not collect or hold your personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on our side. You are in full control of your data on your device and in your iCloud, and you can delete it at any time by deleting your data in the app or removing the app and its iCloud data.

13. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
