Boule Privacy Policy
Last updated 10 August 2026
Boule is a pétanque and bocce score keeper published by Moonshot Media Limited, Ireland. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version is that it collects nothing.
What we collect
Nothing. Boule has no accounts, no sign in, no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no third party trackers of any kind. We do not know who you are, we cannot see your matches, and no data about you reaches a server we control.
What stays on your device
Everything you create in Boule lives on your device: your matches and their mène by mène history, the players and teams you name, your concours and their results, the dates in your calendar, your Précision sessions, and your badges.
iCloud
If you are signed in to iCloud, Boule saves that same data to your own private iCloud database so it follows your Apple ID across your devices and survives reinstalling the app. That database belongs to you. Apple provides it, we cannot read it, and no other Boule user can see it. You can stop this at any time by turning iCloud Drive off for Boule in the Settings app.
The camera
Le Mètre uses the camera to photograph the boules so you can compare two shots side by side. Those photographs are held in memory for as long as the screen is open and are discarded when you close it. They are never saved to your photo library, never uploaded, and never sent anywhere.
Notifications
If you set a reminder on a calendar entry, Boule schedules a local notification on your device. Local notifications do not involve a server and no reminder text leaves your phone.
Purchases
Boule Pro is sold through Apple’s in app purchase system. Apple handles the payment and tells the app only whether a valid purchase exists. We never see your name, your payment details, or your Apple ID.
Children
Boule is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete. To remove everything the app has stored, delete the app and, if you use iCloud, remove its data in Settings, your Apple ID, iCloud, Manage Storage.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top.
