Privacy Policy
Bow. Effective 3 August 2026.
Bow is a bridal shower games app, made by Moonshot Media Limited. It is built to be private by design. We do not run servers for your content, we do not have accounts, and we cannot see your data.
1. Information we do not collect
Bow does not collect, transmit, or sell your personal data. There are no analytics SDKs, no advertising, no trackers, and no third party data sharing. We do not ask you to create an account or sign in.
2. Information stored on your device
Everything you enter, the bride’s name and the guests’ names, your own bingo squares, the running order, the answers and the notes left for the keepsake, is stored locally on your device using Apple’s on-device database.
3. Photos in How Old Was the Bride
Photos you use in games stay on this phone. The photographs you load for How Old Was the Bride are written to Bow’s own private folder on your device and are never uploaded, never sent to us, and never shared with anyone. They are deliberately kept out of iCloud sync entirely, so they do not travel to your other devices either. Delete them at any time with the Delete All Photos control in Settings, or by deleting the app.
4. iCloud sync (your private iCloud)
If you are signed in to iCloud, Bow syncs your shower details, the names, the running order and the keepsake text, to your own private iCloud account, so they survive reinstalling the app. This data lives in your personal iCloud and is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. Moonshot Media has no access to it and cannot read it. You can manage or delete it in your iCloud settings. Your photographs are not part of this sync.
5. Notifications
If Bow uses notifications, they are scheduled and delivered locally on your device. Nothing is sent to us.
6. The keepsake
The bride’s keepsake, the advice, the recipe cards, the wishes, the finished stories and the awards, is assembled entirely on your device from what the room enters. Bow does not use artificial intelligence and does not send your entries or the finished keepsake anywhere.
7. Sharing
When you choose to share or save something, such as a bingo card or the keepsake card, Bow uses the standard iOS share sheet. What happens next is controlled by you and the app or contact you share with. The keepsake card is built from text only and never contains your photographs.
8. Contacting us
If you use the Feature Request or Report a Problem buttons, your email app opens a message to us. If you email us, we receive your message and email address only so we can reply. We do not use it for anything else.
9. In-app purchase
Bow unlocks with a single one-time purchase through Apple. Payments are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your card or payment details. Apple shares only the anonymous confirmation Bow needs to unlock the app. There is no subscription.
10. Children’s privacy
Bow is made for adults celebrating together. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age.
11. Data security
Because your data stays on your device and in your own private iCloud, it is protected by your device passcode, Face ID or Touch ID, and Apple’s encryption. We hold no copy of it.
12. Your rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA)
Since we do not collect or hold your personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on our side. You are in full control of your data on your device and in your iCloud, and you can delete it at any time in the app or by removing the app and its iCloud data.
13. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
