Moonshot

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 28 April 2026
Last Updated: 28 April 2026

Moonshot Media Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the SnagShot mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with your use of the App.

We have designed SnagShot to keep your data private. The App does not collect, transmit, or share your personal data with us or any third party. All project data, photos, and reports you create stay on your device and, if you choose, in your personal iCloud account.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or have access to any of the following:

  • Your name, email, phone number, or address
  • Account credentials (the App does not require you to create an account with us)
  • Analytics, usage statistics, or telemetry
  • Crash reports sent to our servers
  • Advertising identifiers or tracking data
  • Location data
  • Contacts, calendar, or other device data

The App does not contain third-party advertising, analytics SDKs, or tracking technologies.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following information locally on your device only:

  • Project data — site names, addresses, issue descriptions, and notes you enter
  • Photos — images you capture or import to document issues
  • Company branding — your company name, logo, and contact details (used to generate reports)
  • App preferences and settings

This data is stored using Apple’s standard on-device storage (SwiftData / Core Data). It never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share it (see below).

3. iCloud Sync (Optional)

If you have iCloud enabled on your device and choose to use iCloud backup within the App, your project data and photos may be synced to your personal iCloud account. This data:

  • Is stored in your iCloud container, controlled by your Apple ID
  • Is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple
  • Is never accessible to Moonshot Media Limited

iCloud sync is governed by Apple’s iCloud Terms and Apple’s Privacy Policy.

You can disable iCloud sync at any time in iOS Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → SnagShot.

4. Camera and Photo Library Access

The App requests access to your camera and photo library so you can attach images to issues. These permissions are used only when you actively choose to add a photo. Images are stored on your device (and optionally in your iCloud, as described above). They are not uploaded to our servers.

You can revoke these permissions at any time in iOS Settings → SnagShot.

5. Sharing Reports

When you generate a PDF report and share it (via email, AirDrop, messaging apps, cloud storage, etc.), the report is created on your device and shared through the system you choose. We do not see, receive, or process this content. Once shared, the recipient’s handling of the file is governed by their own privacy practices.

6. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

The App offers an optional Pro subscription (SiteAudit Pro Annual). Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not see your payment details, Apple ID, or billing information. We receive only anonymous, aggregated subscription status from Apple to unlock Pro features in the App.

Apple’s handling of your purchase information is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy and the App Store & Privacy page.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is rated 4+ but is intended for use by professionals. We do not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.

8. Data Security

Because we do not collect or store your data on our servers, there is no centralized database that could be breached on our end. Data on your device is protected by your device’s security features (passcode, Face ID / Touch ID, device encryption).

9. Your Rights (GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA)

Because we do not collect or process your personal data, most data subject rights (access, deletion, portability, etc.) do not apply to us — you already have full control of your data, which lives on your device. To delete all App data, simply delete the App from your device. To delete iCloud-synced data, sign in to iCloud.com or use iOS Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Storage.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through an in-app notice or App Store update notes.
