Terms of Use

Whirl. Effective 4 August 2026.

These terms are an agreement between you and Moonshot Media Limited for your use of the Whirl app. By downloading or using Whirl, you agree to them.

1. The app

Whirl is a wedding reception games app: seven live games one person runs from a single phone, onto a television or projector when there is one, five printable packs for the tables, a run sheet for the evening, and a keepsake for the couple at the end. It is made for a room of family and friends of every age, from the children to the grandparents. There are no drinking games and no drinking prompts anywhere in it. No guest at the wedding needs to download anything.

2. Your content

Everything you enter belongs to you. It is stored on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own private iCloud account. Photographs you load for How Old Were They stay on your device only and are never uploaded anywhere. The printable packs are generated on your phone. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for keeping your own backups through iCloud.

3. One-time purchase

Whirl is free to download and explore. A single one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase of 19.99 US dollars, or the equivalent in your local currency, unlocks every game and every pack permanently on your Apple account. There is no subscription, no trial and no recurring charge of any kind. Purchases and any refunds are handled by Apple under the terms of the App Store. You can restore your purchase on a new device with Restore Purchases.

4. Acceptable use

Please use Whirl only for its intended personal purpose, and do not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or misuse the app. Please only load photographs you have the right to use. The printable packs are for your own event; please do not resell them.

5. Intellectual property

Whirl, its name, design, games, and built-in content are owned by Moonshot Media Limited. The packs, the keepsake and the notes you create with Whirl are yours to use freely at your own wedding.

6. Disclaimer and liability

Whirl is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moonshot Media Limited is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the laws of your country that cannot legally be limited.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be on this page with the effective date above.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
